We have found that many of the traders have been given a broad brush approach to trader training or learned certain trading ideas via web searches in a smorgasbord of trading ideas. In some cases too much and other cases the information lacks the background or a framework to apply their trading ideas. Yes, many have an idea of what trading is about, but simply lack a systematic approach and general framework to work within. Hence the birth of this course. Our approach will be different. We will give you what you need to be successful, but not too much clutter that will only serve to confuse you and get you off into tangents. Nothing more and nothing less. By doing this we can speed up your education by being concise and focusing on only what is required.
The objective for this course is simple. To make you into a profitable successful trader – to make money for yourself and Blue Point Trading in the quickest time possible. The course design is targeted at a person that has some knowledge of the financial markets and trading in general. This course is NOT an “A” to “Z” on trader basics, rather taking you directly into understanding financial markets, trading strategies and how to implement them so as to be successful within the context of working with Blue Point Trading. What we do is build on top of what you may have learned already and focus on only what is important – successful trading. This course is part of the overall Trader Programme of Blue Point Trading and coexists with our one-to-one trader coaching. The actual trading portion of this programme is the application of this eLearning exercise upon receiving your trader account with Blue Point Trading.

eLearning Trader Training Course Syllabus:

Market Fundamentals – After a brief introduction to the course, this lesson will give an overview of the markets that we will be trading along with the basic market and exchange mechanics. A discussion of the “key” fundamental indicators that drive price movements in the markets, along with their correlations. Though primarily we trade via technical analysis, it is important to understand these elements as seeing market inefficiencies may help in validating overall trends.
Trading Mechanics – Here you will learn the basic trading environment from an infrastructure, broker, instrument type, order management mechanics to be able to implement the tactics of your trading strategies. Risk management is job one !!! You will understand what leverage is, how to use it and how it can kill you !!! In addition, being able to understand the math of trading, in terms of suitable profit and stop loss targets relative to your win loss ratios.
Market Technical Indicators – You will learn the three “key” technical indicator types. Here you will get a general explanation of them, learn the advantages and disadvantages of them and how you use them in building a Trade Plan. You will further explore “key” examples in each indicator type.
Building Your Trade Plan – Learn the three “key” trade types. Here you will learn a step by step process on how to build your Trade Plan. This will be the “key” lesson in the overall course.
Executing Your Trade Plan – How to take your Trade Plan and put it into action in a continual improvement process via your Trade Journal. Once you have learned what you need to be a successful trader, we prepare you to launch your proprietary trading career.
